Many companies market themselves as providors of “whole foods” which means they are trying as hard as possible to keep things real. In the sports nutrition field the ProBar company from Park City, Utah makes some great products and they use the term “Whole Food Bar” in their marketing.
The bars texture is similar to the popular Clif Bar products but you’ll notice one big difference when you bit the bar. Its NOT as sweet. The oats and chocolate are the first thing that you taste not the brown rice syrup. The texture is similar to many other bars and you would likely need some liquid to help you digest the bar when eating.
The bar’s package says the bar contains 70% organic ingredients. They do not add minerals and vitamins to the bar but it has a large amount of your RDA iron requiremants at 25%. Its also Vegan and its high in Omega 6 fat at 2.2 grams but it has no Omega 3.
